What is a contaminant?

Food contamination that is intentional could include acts of food fraud. This is illegal and is a worrying event that can occur at any point in the chain, such as an employee or a stranger.
All business operators in the UK must stick to food safety regulations that are enforced by the Food Standards Agency. When problems are identified, products must be immediately recalled.
