- Kettling noise. This is usually a buildup of steam in the pipes. It is quite natural but can be the state of some underlying issues.
- The water pump is the most common error that you find with boilers. When you consider the amount of work that the poor pump has to put up with it’s not really that much of a surprise. It has to send the heater water around all of the radiators in the home and if you have a town house then that’s a tall order.
- Whooshing sound. This could be a lack of gas or gas pressure. Anything to do with the gas supply is very serious so this should be looked at straight away.
- Deep humming or vibration and rattling. Nothing will happen as there are many safety feature s on the boiler to protect it. However this is a very serious development and someone should be called to come and fix it.
